The .enc file extension is also in use by the BlackICE software package, which serves as an evidence log and it is also described as an industry standard format. BlackICE is an anti-virus program dedicated to protect your desktop computers from harmful attacks. The .enc file extension can be read or viewed using Microsoft Network Monitor, or other network packet captures tools.
