What is the .SQD File Extension?
.SQD File Extension Description:
Sysquake is flexible yet powerful software mainly designed for three different purposes: to understand basic concepts, to design your systems, and to develop and test new design methods. What makes it innovative is its incomparable graphical interactivity.
Sysquake uses libraries and creates two types of files, namely the SQ files and the SQ Data files known as the files with the .sqd file extension. Libraries are set of functions that complement the built-in functions of the Sysquake language and are made available to SQ files that request them. These SQ files are actually kinds of scripts or programs that implement figures, menus and computation code for a given topic. Some SQ file extensions are provided with Sysquake suitable for many problems in the same area and can be customized with your own data.
Files with the .sqd file extension are those that store the state of a session with Sysquake. These files are always associated with SQ files because they only contain the data necessary to load back the SQ files which restore the parameters, settings and figures defined when they were saved. The files with the .sqd file extension are normally written and read by Sysquake. However, since they are also text files, the SQD files can be easily created by hand, read the values, or be used to exchange data with other applications.
Once you open a file with the .sqd file extension, Sysquake will initially load its related SQ file and subsequently restores the precise data's state, including the figures that prevailed at the time the file with the .sqd file extension was saved. The SQD file must be in its current values and settings before it can be saved or already saved with Save As to provide a file name for the new SQD file extension.
When the file with the .sqd file extension is opened, Sysquake looks first for the name of the SQ file associated with it. It searches in the folder of the SQD file extension, then in the pre-specified folders to load the SQ file that sets the variables based on the contents of the file with the .sqd file extension. By default, the SQ_files folder is located at a similar place as the Sysquake; however you can actually change it to the paths where help files and libraries are searched. Every path is very much relative to the Sysquake and the folders are separated with new lines.Author: Calerga
