The Terminal settings appear as standard in the Windows 3.x set up. They are established in the Accessories Program list. Two types of dial-up connection in the terminal setting include the PPP (point-to-point protocol) that may be used for full range service and the assignment of a computer with its own IP address that becomes a node in the Internet. The Terminal Server which is an essential process interfaces only via text; it can be connected to a distant host and uses packages like pine and lynx.
