What is the .WPF File Extension?

.WPF File Extension Description:

All files generated by the InForms Designer/Filler have the file extension WPF. This software is a two-part development tool designed by Novell Corporation that allows you to automate the way you gather and share your business information.

With InForms Designer, combining database information, document management systems, workflow, e-mail, and electronic signatures can create files with the .wpf file extension. With InForms Filler, these files can be generated by filling out forms, electronically sign them so they can be later routed and run with applications created with the InForms Designer.

Files with the .wpf file extension can be integrated with the Novell Directory Service (NDS) to store security information such as digital signatures for forms in extended NDS user objects, with GroupWise taking advantage of its workflow capabilities, and with other industry standard email systems. These files are also supported by the Structured Query Language (SQL) and other common desktop databases.

The files with the .wpf file extension can be conveniently accessed and used with the many types of information you gathered and stored in databases. These files can be viewed, edited, changed, and organized in any database linked to the form. They can also be downloaded from any web browser where the list of available files with the .wpf file extension is displayed. Most of these files have an overview of how and when they can be used and filed.

Launching the InForms Filler software can open the downloaded files with the .wpf file extension. When displayed, specific information such as the name of the company, address, and phone numbers can be inputted on the form. They can be exported along with their embedded databases so that the data you input can be available each time you access these files.
